Wildflowers & All The Rest Review and Unboxing Video – Tom Petty

Wildflowers & All The Rest Box Set

Wildflowers & All The Rest Review & Unboxing

Warner Records

Released: October 16, 2020

Wildflowers & All The Rest is a celebration of Tom Petty’s classic 1994 album, Wildflowers. When Petty set out to make the record, he intended the release to be a double LP. However, the record company did not share the same thinking as the legendary singer. So what the world received was one classic album made up of 15 killer tracks with no signs of filler to be found. However, it was always Tom Petty’s plan to release the rest of the songs under the title, All The Rest. Sadly, in 2017 Tom Petty passed away before making that plan a reality. Fortunately, Tom Petty’s estate is committed to keeping his legacy alive and well. Evidence of that is that the remaining songs that Tom recorded back in 2004 are now being released, along with so much more as Wildflowers & All The Rest.

Which Version Of Wildflowers & All The Rest Should I Get?

You really can’t go wrong with any of the versions. I would say that either boxing of the 9 LP sets would be for die-hard Tom Petty fans or those who just want the most they can get. Obviously, if budget is not an issue, why not go for the ultra-deluxe edition. Wildflowers is just one of those iconic records that should be in a record collection. So the 3 LP set that contains the original album plus All The Rest is a great way to do that. You can’t go wrong with that version. We went with the 7 LP set ourselves. It offered just enough extra goodies for us. We are very happy with the version.  Take a look and see which one is best for you. There are also 2 CD, 4 CD, and 5 CD sets available as well if that works better for you. Again, you are getting something great with any of the options you may choose.

2 Comments on Wildflowers & All The Rest Review and Unboxing Video – Tom Petty

  1. Came looking to enter….maybe I already did. I love Tom Petty and the heartbreak has been all of ours, along with his family and friends. It hit me like the passing of George. I loved Prince who passed so close but with Tom, it felt like losing a friend. I nearly cried when singing along to an acoustic version of “It’s good to be King” the day of the release. It really snuck up on me. Well, hope this enters me into the give -away. I’ll get it someday soon anyway but what the hell, it’s good to be free!
Thank you with love to all!

    • Hope you win! Absolutely enjoyed reading what you wrote here and seem very kind.
