Barry Manilow Says Goodbye to Cincinnati

There are some artists you assume you’ll eventually get around to seeing.
For me, Barry Manilow was one of them.
Thankfully, I finally got that chance on August 5th when Manilow returned to Heritage Bank Center for what was billed as his final Cincinnati concert.
It wasn’t lost on me that my first time seeing Barry Manilow would also be my last opportunity to see him perform here. After a career spanning decades and a catalog of songs that have become part of American pop culture, there was something special about simply being in the room and watching a true music legend take the stage.
For longtime fans, the evening was a chance to celebrate the music and memories they’ve carried with them for years. For me, it was finally getting to experience an artist I’d somehow missed until now.
Sometimes you make it just in time.
